Stolen truck recovered

PITTSBORO -- Chatham County Sheriff's Office deputies recovered a red Ford Ranger pickup truck valued at $7,000 after the driver was stopped by a member of the Pittsboro Police Department on Sunday morning. Deputies had notified surrounding jurisdictions after the victim, David Lipofski of Pittsboro, reported it stolen late Saturday evening. |

PITTSBORO -- Three people arrested by Chatham County Sheriff's Office during a special marijuana eradication operation in the southwestern part of the county will face court action next month, authorities announced on Thursday. |
